Hey!
Jjust saw this health tip from the iOS app Health Tip Of The Day and wanted to share it with any bloggers.
"Ancient rituals for the passing of elders included sitting perfectly still for extended periods of time, which doesn't allow for the movement of lymph and results in death of the body. To avoid a slow death from sitting in front of TV's, computer screens, and in cars, consider getting up and moving around at least every hour to keep that lymph moving!"

HEALTH tip of the DAY
I'm cracking down on being a health freak.. Found this tip today I thought I would share :)
Sugar consumption, including high fructose corn syrup, can weaken the immune system by up to 50% (depending on the size of the dose) for up to 4 hours. Consider limiting sugar consumption at the beginning of any illness to minimize damage to the immune system when under attack.
I have to say it is definitely not easy cutting out sugar, I'm taking it one day at a time.

SUNDAY FUNDAY
Well for most of the day my mom, the girls and I watched movies and just chilled. It was nice. We got the house cleaned up and just had fun together. I love days like today. My Blake is starting to feel a little Better and went to bed all by herself tonight WITHOUT crying.... Ahh, makes me such a proud mommy <3
Got a few things to send Dustin tomorrow. Can't wait til he gets them. I love sending him yummy snacks. They have nothing good over there.
Didn't run today, I was very sore. Plan on running tomorrow though :)
I did happen to indulge in some cookies today. I think everyone deserves a cheat day ;)
Going to bed for the night.
Plan on improving my blog soon.

Healthy life
So for the past 6 months or so I have began to adopt a healthier lifestyle. I started by cutting out all fast food. Things like Chickfila, McDonald's, Checkers, etc. It was a little hard at first because I had relied on the fastness of "fast" food. I mean that is what it is there for, for those moments where we are hungry and on the go or just plain lazy (which I was half the time.) I never really even enjoyed fast food. Anyways, with me being pregnant for the second time, I really wanted to give the "healthy" diet a try. It has really paid off! For example, my first pregnancy I gained 33 pounds... Eating nonstop fast food, sweet tea, French fries, and straight up junk food. I also felt extremely sluggish and tired every day. For my second pregnancy, I gained less than 20 pounds, which is I know, not good. But, eating healthy things, drinking a ton of water, and staying active helped keep off extra weight that i didnt need. Healthy eating has also helped me lose all of my baby weight by the time my Livy turned 3 weeks. Being healthy really pays off!
Anyways, I will continue to share workouts, and things I eat to help keep me healthy and energized, because we all know having two babies can really wear you out ;)
